The classes and activities designed for children aged 3 to 7 are not only enjoyable but also highly effective in fostering early childhood development. These carefully crafted sessions engage young learners through interactive methods that promote both fun and foundational learning. Our students typically embark on their educational journey at the age of 3, where they are introduced to the exciting world of hand-signing paired with Solfege. This unique approach enhances their musical abilities and cognitive understanding while simultaneously preparing them for a rich array of activities and worksheets that stimulate their creativity and critical thinking skills.

Absolutely! We are delighted to inform you that we provide instruments for all students who are participating in our program. Each student will not only receive a take-home instrument that they can practice with at their leisure, but they will also have the opportunity to delve into the world of music through various small percussion and pitched instruments. This includes delightful options such as the xylophone, which consists of wooden bars arranged in a keyboard fashion, and desk bells that can create enchanting melodies. Additionally, students will explore the rhythmic sounds of shakers, hand drums, sticks, tambourines, desk bells, xylophone..etc.

To achieve quick wins in your musical journey, simply open up your instrument and dive into our specially designed quick start lesson plans. These plans are designed to be time-efficient, taking anywhere from just 4 minutes to a maximum of 30 minutes to complete. This flexibility allows you to easily incorporate short music sessions into your busy schedule.

Establishing this routine helps create a harmonious environment where both you and your young learners can explore the joys of music together, enhancing their musical abilities and keeping the experience fun and engaging.

Get ready for some fun learning music! It’s easy, enjoyable, and you can absolutely do this with your child. We start with simple echo songs about numbers, colors, and solfege (do re mi), making it easy for everyone to join in. Petite Prodigies focuses on pitch and rhythm using iconic notation, so you won’t need to read music. We emphasize notes and chords, similar to what 7-12 year-olds learn in piano lessons, but we use colors, hand signs, and bells to make it easier for younger learners.

Piano – Learning to play the piano at a young age provides numerous developmental benefits that can positively influence various aspects of a child’s life. From cognitive skills to emotional well-being, the benefits are vast and profound.

Violin – Learning to play the violin offers numerous benefits for children that extend far beyond the joy of making music. Violin is a  beautiful instrument can significantly enhance a child’s cognitive abilities. Research has shown that learning violin can improve language skills, which aids in the development of phonemic awareness – an essential skill for reading.

Ukulele – The small size of the ukulele makes it an ideal instrument for children to learn, as it allows them to easily hold and strum the instrument. This can help to improve their dexterity and hand-eye coordination, which can also be beneficial for other activities that require fine motor skills, such as writing and drawing.

The initial focus is on piano, violin or ukulele. Percussion instruments consist of both pitched and unpitched instruments, including desk bells, xylophones, triangles, shakers, tambourines and bongos. Music learning is also experienced through speech, chants, movement, singing, and drama.
